Ann Arbor to Silver Lake
My message with this work is that these are some things and places that are very important to me. The base layer is a selfie I took in my backyard with the trees from the park next to my house in the background. I have lived in this small area next to North Main Park my whole life, and I have spent countless hours playing in the park or relaxing in my backyard. The second full size layer is a photo I took during the first week of school from the seat of the tractor out to the lake. Silver Lake is my second home. My dad lives on it, and I spent my summer on it doing property management. The street sign is from the intersection of Summit and Fourth Ave. This intersection is right by my house and I have used it to get to many important places in my life. The image in the top right is a cutout of the Kerrytown logo on the Kingsley side. Kerrytown has played a very important role in my life, from the hours spent in Mudpuddles when I was small to the hours I spend in Sweetwaters doing homework or meeting friends. Finally, though it does not represent a place like the others, my watch represents time. Time is a very important concept to me. It keeps going no matter what else is happening, so I try my best to get the most out of it.
